If you became terminally ill and could clone yourself to provide stability and continuity for your family, would you do it? Is it possible for love to be so strong that it can withstand a fundamental lie of identity?

Mahershala Ali carries this movie beautifully as he wrestles with the situation and his options. He is an excellent actor and is able to convey a complex range of emotions with very little.

Awkwafina is well-cast in this as the only other person Mahershala’s character can relate to. She plays the role with just the right amount of gravitas and humor.

This is a beautifully-shot, psychological film that leaves us with something to chew on.
